Welcome to the "Pod Baranem" (At Ram's) Restaurant website. We would like to give you a warm and hospitable reception. Our restaurant, characterized by typical family atmosphere, is located just 200 metres away from the Wawel Royal Castle.

The restaurant was founded in 1997 and since then has acquired much renown among its Customers. Each Guest is equally important to us and numerous and prominent people were willing to place their trust in our services; in their midst such personages as: Krzysztof Jasiński, Beata Rybotycka, Maryla Rodowicz, Wisława Szymborska, Michał Rusinek, Gen. Dr Mieczysław Bieniek, Adam Zagajewski.

Antique furniture, two fireplaces and atmospheric music build up bourgeois and cosy interiors and ambience, which make each of our Guests feel wonderful. The restaurant has four small, air-conditioned rooms that can seat up to 70 people in total.

Polish cuisine with a touch of European flavours is our specialty. We do not use any half-finished products and prepare all dishes ourselves, thus each of them is made separately, only after the order is taken. High quality of the dishes does not mean high prices - the average cost of a full dinner equals around 50 PLN.
